Our brand new bouldering facility is for anyone who wants to come climbing in West Somerset.

‍

Bouldering is a no-ropes climbing discipline with problems to challenge your mind and body. You should leave your session feeling tired but pumped with endorphins, and with a real sense of achievement.

‍

And it's social! We've got the coffee and cake; you bring your mates! Enjoy a friendly atmosphere with like-minded people.

What to expect when you get here:

‍

• 80 linear metres / 350 square meters of adult climbing wall
• No ropes, no harnesses - this is all about skill, balance and strength
• Hundreds of bouldering problems for you to solve
• Problems designed for all abilities, from first-timer through to old hand
• We change routes regularly to keep it interesting for people who come more often
• Dedicated area for children's climbing
• Shoe hire - a wide range of shoe sizes available (£3.60)
• We have everything you need, you can just bring yourself!
• Eco-friendly liquid chalk from Gekco
• Lockers to keep your valuables secure while you enjoy the wall
• A session has no time limit, so you can climb for as long as you want

How much will it cost?

‍

• A single session is £13.50 (£11.00 for members of ChalkUp CrossFit or Fitness gyms)
• Shoe hire (if required) is £3.60 per session

How do I book?

• Buy a membership or a single session using the links below
• If you would like to pay for a group as a single transaction, please see instructions below
• Complete your online safety induction, and sign your Acknowledgement of Risk form
• Turn up during our bouldering hours (see below)
• You can hire shoes at the front desk if you need
• Get on the wall and enjoy your session!

Booking a group

You can pay for multiple people in a single transaction. Please email groups@chalkup.uk with:

> names of the attendees

> email addresses of attendees over 16

> parent or legal guardian name and email address if under 16

> how many require climbing shoe hire
